Case Closed: Trial Victories (2nd Edition) is a collection of medical malpractice cases that were won at trial. These cases symbolize a long journey for each physician involved . . . the journey from accusation to vindication in the courtroom. Course Objectives:
Upon completion of this course, the participant will be able to:

recognize practical strategies to increase patient safety, avoid litigation and enhance defensibility in the event of a lawsuit;

discuss how informed consent may be a critical issue in liability claims; and

explain how good documentation techniques can help prevent malpractice claims.
