Who Should Attend: This 2-hour CME webinar is intended for physicians of all specialties interested in practical ways of reducing medical liability when delegating and supervising medical care. Course Objectives: Upon completion of this course, participants should be better able to:- Discuss the Texas Medical Board rules which govern delegation and supervision of medical staff, including advanced practice providers (APPs), medical assistants, nurses, and others;
- Review real medical liability cases involving staff supervision and delegation; and
- Identify issues which frequently generate preventable liability claims and Board complaints involving staff, and share best practices to avoid these issues.
