Upon completion of this course, participants should be better able to:

review good risk management practices for physicians, including the use of texting, storage of patient data on phones, communication issues, multi-state licensure, and questionable referral practices;
identify Texas Medical Board rules physicians need to know; including supervision and delegation rules and guidelines for the provision of complementary and alternative medicine;
Outline strategies for risk mitigation of medical liability and medical board complaints.
